摘要:The object of this research was to know the genetic variation of PenaeidShrimp (Penaeus merguiensis de Man) from area of Juwana andBanyuwangi based on allozyme analyze. The genetic data was collected byallozyme electrophoresis technique by analyzed 10 kinds of enzymes, theywere ADH, LDH, IDH, MDH, AAT, EST, SP, PGM, GPI, α- GPD. Thegenotipe distribution in polymorphic loci was estimated according toHardy-Weinberg rule. The genetic variation was measured based onpolymorphic loci propotion, alel frequency, quantity of allel per loci andheterozygocity. The result of this research showed that in 10 enzymes fromJuwana’s population could detected 18 enzymes loci with one polymorphicloci, GPI-2, the frequency of polymorphic loci were 0.01 and 0.99, theproportion of polymorphic loci was 6%, the quantity of alel per loci was1.06 and heterozygocity was 0.001. In enzyme from Banyuwangi’spopulation, there was 17 loci found with GPI-2 as polymorphic loci, thefrequency of polymorphic loci were 0.1 and 0.90, the proportion ofpolymorphic loci was 6%, the quantity of alel per loci was 1.06 andheterozygocity was 0.01. The genetic divergence was 0.058 for populationfrom Juwana and Banyuwangi. In Juwana population was found MDH-3loci which could not been found in Banyuwangi’s population. So there wasa distinction between both populations by the presence of MDH-3 loci.There was genetic difference about 3.6% caused by population differenceand 96.4% caused by individual variation in population.
