摘要：Surendra Kumar Chakraborty’s novel ‘Narishakti Ba Aushrumalini’ is regarded as the first successful social novel in Barak Valley. Here an attempt has been made to study the place of this novel in the light of development of the tradition of the novels written in Barak Valley given special emphasis on the social, cultural aspects of the Valley.
