摘要：The aim of the article is to present possibilities of the corpus linguistics methods as a means of increasing the quality of the output of the translation process in the context of legal translation. Firstly, the specifications of a legal text as a text type in the context of translation will be presented; secondly, the competences necessary to master legal translation will be explained; thirdly, the benefits provided by the corpus analysis method will be summarized. Based on selected empirical data obtained through the corpus analysis, the potential of the corpus analysis methods will be illustrated in practice in order to explain how it can be used to increase the quality of the translation process and its product.
