摘要：Based on the responses o.f questionnaires and from other informationsources a trend of growth is noticed in remote-sensing related activities inthe U.S.A. A general idea on the american institutions involved in educationand research in photograrnmetry and remote-sensing can be drawn fromthis study. The levels of education, types of academic personnel, equipmentavailable for education and research and associated budgetary provisions arediscussed. Some interesting statistical data are presented.
