摘要：Within the field of image interpretation (photo interpretation), aerial photographinterpretation and satellite image interpretation have gained thegreatest practical importance. The identification of objects and other phenomenaby man can be characterisea by the concepts of image gestalt (gestaltlikevision), syntactic identification (identification of classes), and semanticidentification (identification of meaning). Another concept importantin this connection is called inference by analogy. Even if we directly identifythe meaning of image gestalten, we draw such inferences by analogy.They are, however, required to a much greater extent if we do not directlyidentify the meaning of the image gestalten or if image gestalten of higherorder (such as hydrography, distribution of settlements ... ) are to be separatedor other interpretation tasks are to be solved.
