摘要：This paper presents a computer-controlled digital mapping systemand the involved method, hardware as well as software, with emphasison the concept of· curve fitting and data reduction.It can be said the automation of photogrammetry can be realizedby the combination of photogrammetr.y and computer, while the applicationof computer seems to be developed along the way of "numericalcomputation-real time control-information engineering-wisdom". Currentlywe might be in the period of the third stage.
