摘要:The village of Ardeu (pl.I) is well known in the archaeological world fordiscoveries belonging to different epochs.In 2001 the field investigations wereresumed and since then, some research reports,2 studies3 and archaeological notes4have been published.The site has also been subject to many scientificpresentations on local, national and international Colloquia and Conferences.5 Allof these were good opportunities for us to present different aspects regarding theeveryday life of the Dacians, revealed through archaeological research.The archaeological investigations of the “Cetăţuie Hill” in Ardeu werestarted in 1973, by Larisa Nemoianu from National Museum of Romanian History,who organized a short field campaign.The report that followed the excavations,published alongside Ioan Andriţoiu, proves the good collaboration betweenNational Museum of Romanian History from Bucharest and Museum from Deva.6Their study described the general aspects of the archaeological campaign and someof the artifacts discovered.In the current paper, we will try to present anunpublished artifact discovered most probably in the 1973 campaign.The object indiscussion is a small spiral made of silver.
