摘要：Extracorporeal photochemotherapy (ECP) is an emerging treatment for a variety of pathological conditions. Initially described by Edelson for treatment of patients with cu- taneous T cell lymphoma (CTLC), it is becoming an integrated part of the treatment of acute and chronic graft-versus-host disease, a frequent complication of allogeneic stem cell transplantation, solid organs transplant rejection, several autoimmune diseas- es such as scleroderma or Crohn's disease. On June 22 nd 2012, a panel of Italian experts on ECP came together in Milan, Italy, to discuss the most controversial issues on this topic.
