摘要：Low cost color interpolation technique proposed for the VLSI implementation for real time applications.Image interpolation is method of forcing new pixel within the range of discrete data points .This is applied diverseareas ranging from computer graphics, editing, and image reconstruction to online image viewing. High performancesystems along with low power consumption are mandatory in any systems to be efficient. This technique is lesscomplex and requires reduced memory. The aliasing artifacts resulted by the interpolation is reduced by sharpeningfilter and clamp filters. This architecture is designed with a SPST (Spurious Power Suppression Technique) adder orunsigned adder which reduces the power consumption and increases speed by considerable amount.
