摘要:The low power double tail comparator is designed by adding switching transistor. The comparator is acircuit that compares an analog signal with another analog signal or reference and outputs a binary signal based oncomparison. The overall performance of the comparator is based on power consumption and speed. In the proposedcomparator by adding more number of switching transistor below the input transistors , static power dissipation goingto reduce. The positive feedback during the regeneration is strengthened, which results in low power. Compared withexisting comparator, in the proposed comparator, both the power consumption and delay time are significantlyreduced. Post-layout simulation results in a 0.18-μm CMOS technology confirm the analysis results.
