摘要:The present work aims at designing and modelling of a bidirectional DC-DC LUO converter for drivinga Switched Reluctance Motor. LUO converters are new series of DC/DC Converters with merits like reduced voltageand current ripples, high power density, high voltage transfer gain, high efficiency and simple circuit in structure. Inthis converter, the voltage gain can be increased on stage by stage using voltage lift technique. The present design aimsat improving the efficiency of the Switched Reluctance Motor drive by the incorporation of bidirectional DC-DC LUOconverter between the electrical source and the drive system. A C- Dump converter is used to drive the SRM drive. Inthis paper, a MATLAB simulation study is performed and the results are observed in terms of torque rippleminimization for LUO converter fed SRM drive.
