摘要:In this paper, an efficient and practical real-coded genetic algorithm (GAs) has been proposed forsolving the economic load dispatch(ELD) problem. The objective is to minimize the total generation fuel cost and keepthe power flows within the security limits. For each problem of optimization in genetic algorithms (GAs) there are alarge number of possible encodings. The efficiency of the GAs is increased as there is no need to convert chromosomesto the binary type, less memory is required. There is no loss in precision. The proposed technique improves the qualityof the solution and speed of convergence of the algorithm. The Coding are written and executed the values are plottedin graph for different values of MW loading.
