  • 摘要:A tremendous development of the presentengineering sectors, Metal-matrix composites plays a vitalrole in industrial metallurgical processes. The metalmatrixcomposite prepared by stir casting method has agreat advantageous properties and reasonable costingincreases the performance of the Machineries and it alsomuch more profitable technology than powdermetallurgical processes. Metal-matrix composites canmainly prepared by metallic materials, ceramic materialsand non-metallic materials. This paper deals with metalmatrix composite. MoO3 is used as reinforcement andaluminium is used as matrix. The metal matrix compositeAl-10%MoO3 is developed by stir casting method. Theobjective of this paper is to developed Al-10%MoO3composites and analyzing the mechanical properties likehardness, surface roughness and corrosion properties ofthe developed composites
