摘要:In this paper, the Power System Stabilizeris designed using LQR and Robust H∞ loop shapingtechnique in order to maintain the stability of the system.The weighting function of Robust H∞ loop shapingtechnique is determined using Genetic Algorithm. The mainobjective of this paper is to achieve desired stability andanalyze the robustness of the centralized controller formulti-machine system and the comparison is made betweenthe LQR based PSS and Robust controller. The LQR basedPSS is tested even under perturbations. The suitability of theproposed approach for PSS proves the robustness of theproposed design.
