摘要:In this paper, the problem of time to recruitment is studied for a two-grade manpower system byassuming that the wastage (loss of manpower) which takes place due to policy decisions form a geometric process.Three mathematical models are constructed by considering three different forms of optional and mandatory exponentialthresholds for cumulative wastages in each grade .Explicit analytical expressions for variance of time to recruitmentis obtained when the inter-policy decision times (i) are correlated and (ii) form a geometric process.
