摘要:Image authentication has drawn a good attention in both storage as well as communication, with theadvancement of technology on the internet. Enforcement of protection of medical content that is being transmittedthrough the internet also has become a major issue of computer security. Since medical contents are more widelydistributed, it is necessary to develop security mechanism to guarantee their confidentiality, authenticity and integrity.Lossless watermarking or reversible watermarking has been used, to provide security to the image as well as to anycontents like Electronic Health Record(EHR). It overcomes the drawbacks of many ancient techniques that are alreadybeen used. In this paper, Region of Interest (ROI) and Least Significant Bit (LSB) based fragile watermarkingtechniques for tamper detection and recovery of medical images has been discussed.
