摘要:This paper proposes very large scale integration design of reversible image watermarking usingmodified reversible contrast mapping algorithmic rule for digital images which will serve the purpose of mediaauthentication in real time surroundings. The use of reversible contrast mapping on pair of pixels in imagesforreversible watermarking offers a versatile integer transform that shows high embedding rate at low mathematicalcomplexity and without necessitating additional data compression. Mathematically RCM may be explained as a form offlexible linear transformation on pair of pixels that controls distortion and leads to the detainment of the structural dataof the watermarked image.The concepts used in modified reversible contrast mapping are M-ary modulation andadaptive distortion control. The M-ary modulation is used for sending two or more data bits at a time instead of sendingone data bit at a time. The adaptive distortion control is used to improve data hiding capacity. Performance inrobustness against common signal processing operations, namely noise addition, smoothing filtering and some form ofgeometric operation
