  • 摘要:Security is the major issue in the communication applications. Cryptography is a technique that providessecurity for the sender and receiver to transfer their data over a network. Security is a very important factor in everyfield such as Government Agencies, Research Organization, E-commerce and etc. where internet is being used. Toprovide a secured communication and data transition proposed an AM cryptographic algorithm, is the Symmetric keystream cipher algorithm which uses same key for encryption and decryption. The algorithm uses Random key generation,key selection and transposition. The algorithm is developed for 128 bit data in XILINX DESIGN SUITE ISE 14.2 whichis coded in VHDL and implemented in Spartan 6 kit which is compared with the AES algorithm .The proposedalgorithm results in high security, the time for encryption and decryption is minimum and the memory space is alsoreduced.
