摘要:In this project the natural resources are replaced by industrial waste for sustainable construction and foreconomic reasons. The industrial waste are difficult to dispose and the disposal of these materials are costly.Hence, these industrial wastes were used in the construction material for construction purpose. This project reportson experimental investigation of wall panels and slab panels constructed by Ferro-cement techniques usingindustrial waste like copper slag, fly ash and gypsum. Where fly ash, phosphogypsum and sludge were used ascement replacement . Copper slag and vermiculite was used as sand replacement materials. A trial mix of cementmortar using this fly ash, phosphogypsum, sludge and copper slag were made. Wall and slab panel were cast by usingthe optimized mixtures. Ferro cement construction is adopted that proved to yield superior properties in terms of crackscontrol, impact resistance and toughness largely due to the closely spaced and uniform dispersion of reinforcementwithin the material G.I mesh and chicken mesh are used The wall panel is of size 600X600X100 mm in the 100mmthickness the middle 60mm layer is filled with cement vermiculite layer to make it light weight and to obtain insulatingproperties. Vermiculite concretes are light weight , have good insulating properties and are intrinsically fire resistant.
