摘要:Anthracene based fluorescent amino acid were synthesized and characterized by spectralmethods. The fluorescence marking of MCF7 cell lines with these amino acids were discussed. Some of theselected anthracene compounds shown antimicrobial activities against Micrococcus luteus, Staphylococcusaureus, Bacillus cereus, Bacillus subtilis, Candida albicans, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa,ProteusvulgarisandShigellaflexneri. Among the organism tested, maximium growth inhibition was observedwith Micrococcus luteus, Candida albicans.
