摘要：Palmprint recognition being one of the important aspects of biometric technology is one of the most reliable andsuccessful identification methods. In this paper, several existing palmprint recognition algorithms have been studied andanalyzed. A simple approach to preprocessing and roi extraction has been discussed. The available databases have alsobeen analyzed and the most efficient of all will be used for the development of the proposed system.
