  • 摘要:Buildings with masonry infill wall are the most common type of structures used for multi-storeyconstructions in the developing countries.Masonry Brick infill walls have been used in Reinforced concrete Framestructures as interior and exterior partition walls.Infill walls now a day are considered to be non-load bearing member.In the design and assessment of building, the infill walls are usually treated as non- structural element and they areignored in analytical models because they are assumed to be non-beneficial to the structural response. Reinforcedconcrete framed buildings with infills are usually analysed as bare frame, without considering the strength and stiffnesscontributions of the infills. However during wind and earthquake these infill walls contribute some response of thestructure and increase the strength and stiffness of the frame. In this paper effect of masonry infill wall on building isstudied. Dynamic analysis of building with different arrangement is carried out. For analysis G+7 R.C. frame buildingis modelled. The width of strut is calculated by equivalent diagonal strut method. Analysis is carried by SAP2000software. Base shear, Max.storey drift, Displacement is calculated and compared for all models.
