摘要:The proper information extraction from a digitized photo of human face has a great necessity in today’sresearch work. Different types of high frequency noises must be removed in order to get smooth and ideal informationfrom the picture. The choice of correct low pass filter is important in order to remove significant amount of highfrequency noise components without affecting the facial information in the image. A case study has been performedwith several low pass filtering techniques in order to suggest the probable better filtering techniques for different typesof noises in different circumstances. The variations of different filter performances alongside their dimensions are alsoaddressed in this paper.
