摘要：In this paper, we have considered the problem of three machines in tandem including the setup timesand transportation times for jobs. Also, we have considered break-down time of machines and weights of jobsaccording to their importance in the sequence. A heuristic approach has been made for finding an optimal schedule.The procedure has been illustrated with the help of a numerical example.
