摘要：This paper is exclusively focused on the preparation procedure of Al-SiC composite and testing theprepared sample composite for various mechanical properties like tensile strength, hardness, impact strength along withthe micro structure evaluation of the composite at the welded portion. The sample composites prepared is of twodifferent compositions, one made with pure aluminium and 10% SiC base and the other with 15% SiC base. Also theproperties are checked on a welded and non-welded samples of each type.
