摘要：Our understanding about catastrophic Forest Firesand extreme activation of aeolian activity resultsfrom new studies of buried soils in dunes of Kurðiønerija (Curonian spit), radiocarbon dating of charcoaland humus of buried soils, burned wood remains andcharcoal findings in upper part of palaeosoils, as wellas from palynological studies, historical information,geophysical and palaeoenvironmental markers.
