摘要：The subject master of the newest volume ofLandform Analysis entitled “Geoecology of theEuroasiatic Alpids” is the continuation of the precedingvolume entitled “Geoecological Problems ofHigh Mountains”. The theme of nine articles is functioningof natural environment, particularly itsabiotic component, of selected Alpine regions in theTatras, the Alps, the Pirin, the Caucasus, the Pamirand the Polish Carpathians. Presented are the resultsof the newest research concerning contemporary developmentof the relief and functioning of theslope-valley system under anthropopressure in theAlpine environment and also in the conditions withoutany anthropopressure in these areas. These paperspresent various types of research methods,among others more and more widely applieddendrochronological methods. Seven articles concerningthe Tatras, the Polish Carpathians, the Caucasusand the Pamir Mts problems are written byPolish geomorphologists and ecologists. The remainingtwo are written by geomorphologists andecologists from Slovakia and from Bulgaria.
