摘要：The Next Generation Network (NGN) permits the same service provider to maintain its service access from moving current to the next network with a large variety of services. The Integrated Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) is most eligible NGN. The seamless mobility under vertical handoff is the final goal of this network. This paper present comparative performance of this integrated network with the file-based mobility model and the random waypoint mobility model over vertical handoff prediction algorithms using Constant Bit Rate (CBR) background service.
