  • 摘要:The present article is a part of a PHD thesis and it is an attempt to find out whether it is possible to use the internet to consolidate the intake and to improve in this way the learning of French as a foreign language. To verify the initial hypothesis of the research which refers to the information and communication technologies, as well as to applied linguistics, a set of macro and micro objectives are fully applied at the French Centre of Culture and Co-operation from Egypt in 2010. This strategy has helped us to create a virtual resource centre to carry out the objectives mentioned above. The research starts with the definition of the notion "second language learning" to show further the vital role of the intake in this process
