摘要：It is believed that the multi dimensional dilemma has been prevailing in thecountry for the last two decades in the field of economy, social developmentand politics which have caused scary reactions in the society in general and toyouth in particular. As a result, a pro-social behavior in the society is hardlywitnessed. This paper investigates the pro-social behavior of society in termsof age and gender with an objective evaluation of the present scenario.Findings confirmed that elderly people are more pro-social as compared toyounger ones while females are more inclined towards helping behavior ascompared to males.
