摘要:The overall goal of this work is to provide a contribution to the studies that aim to boost the entrepreneurship, as a trigger of the idea of growth of the firms, and on internationalization as a way for the growth of the firm itself. In particular, this research has adopted a specific case, the LML-Piaggio. Growth strategies that companies have developed over time have been determined by a constant adjustment to a more and more variable, dynamic and complex environment. Among the different growth strategies, internationalization is the one that grants a "greater sustainability of the competitive benefit" (Sicca, 2011) in a setting where global market has by now become the companies' competitive arena but Lml – Piaggio joint venture shows that "internationalization strategy" isn't always a good decision. Thus, this research aims to propose a reflection on the risks related to internationalization and the importance of the entrepreneurship choices as engine the growth for companies
