摘要:Objective:The objective of this research was to design a 2.4 GHzclass F Power Amplifier (PA), with 0.18um SemiconductorManufacturing International Corporation (SMIC) CMOStechnology by using Cadence software, for sensor network,especially for health care. The ultimate goal for suchapplication is to minimize the trade-offs betweenperformance and cost, and between performance and lowpower consumption design.Methods:This paper introduces the design of a 2.4GHz class F poweramplifier which consists of two stage amplifiers. Thispower amplifier can transmit 18dBm output power to a50Ω load. The power added efficiency is 46% at 1dBcompression point and the power gain is 18dB, the totalpower consumption is 2.8W.Conclusion:The performance of the power amplifier meets thespecification requirements of the desired.
