摘要：Mobile Ad Hoc networks (MANETs) arewireless networks which are infrastructure less, means it doesnot require any central authority for communication betweenmobile nodes. The security is an issue in such networksand thenetworks are vulnerable to many attacks. Routing in MANETin general is not secure because of vulnerability due to attackslike flooding and Jelly-Fish attacks. We have used the termintegrated attack to mean combination of one or more of theseattacks which occur on the network layer of OSI model. Theproposed mechanism uses novel hierarchical clustering basedapproach. This mechanism uses the concept of multi mesh tree(MMT). It reduces the impact of these attacks on theperformance of MANET. The simulation results show that theproposed mechanism gives better performance under theintegrated attacks in terms of packet delivery ratio (PDR), endto end delay (ETD) and throughput.
