摘要:The limiting major factor in successful organizationof mobile ad-hoc networks is energy conservation since mobilenodes dynamically form a temporary network without the useof pre-existing fixed infrastructure. Although MANETs areknown for providing efficient routes in propagation of databut now a more challenging task is to provide energy efficientroutes. The most critical issue in mobile wirelesscommunication is conservation of energy due to powerconstraints on mobile units. In this paper we mainly focus inthe implementation of a new strategy i.e. Intelligent PowerSaver AODV (IPS˗AODV) for routing in which the maincriteria for routing will not be limited to only shortest path.There will be two parameters for selection of proper routingpath i.e. shortest path (followed by conventional protocols)and evaluation of energy utilization of each node. It meansbefore propagating data to the network, battery power of eachnode will be evaluated and then shortest path will beconsidered. The major criterion of proposed protocol isimplemented by considering the transmission of emergencypackets although the node energy is below threshold point. Inthis paper we will also investigate that if battery power of anode is falling down below threshold value then that nodeshould not take part in data communication while it stilltransmit the control packets so that energy can be conserved.
