摘要：As distributed applications and services are gettingpopular now a days, Web servers play a central role in thetelecommunications infrastructure. Cluster-based Webservers are increasingly adopted to host a variety of networkbasedservices. So performance improvement of these serversis necessary. The cluster based architecture consists of frontenddispatcher and several back-end servers. Front end isresponsible for request distribution. The back-end nodes areresponsible for request processing. They should providereliability, availability and efficient services. So performanceimprovement of these servers is necessary. Load balancing isone of the best efficient methods for performanceimprovement of cluster system. It is often desirable to isolatethe performance of different classes of requests from eachother. Our objective is to deliver better services to highpriority request classes without over-sacrificing low priorityclasses. The main objective is to minimize the response time ofrequests that need intra cluster communication.
