  • 摘要:A T -Direct code is defined as the set of T F-ary linearcodes 􀀀1; 􀀀2; : : : ; 􀀀T such that 􀀀i \ 􀀀?i= f0g, where 􀀀?i=􀀀1  􀀀2    􀀀i􀀀1 􀀀i+1      􀀀T is the dual of 􀀀i withrespect to the direct sum  = 􀀀1  􀀀2     􀀀T for each i =1, 2, . . . , T . In this paper, a construction to a class of T -Directcodes with the constituent codes from the class of 2-Cyclic MaximumRank Distance codes is given. These class of codes aredefined with a Rank metric. An application of the constructedclass of codes over the T -user F-Adder Channel, namely a codingscheme for the noisy case, is given. In an attempt to showthe usefulness of T -Direct codes as multi-user codes, a distanceconstruction method for the class of T -Direct codes constitutedby a set of T maximum rank distance codes is proposed. Theproposed distance construction is shown to increase the minimumdistance of the constituent codes of T -Direct codes whenemployed. Further, a construction procedure that constructs(n + m)-Direct codes over GF(2n) is developed from the proposeddistance construction, 0 < m  n(n+1)2 . It is shownthat the extended distance construction procedure increases thenumber of users (constituent codes) of a T -Direct code; whenemployed on an n-Direct code, it constructs an n(n+1)2-Directcode, thereby supporting more users in a multi-user environment.
