摘要:This article explores the limited use, and limitations on use, of the diary within the context of LIS research. The author is currently working on a BLRDD funded project**, examining library support for franchised courses in higher education, which is utilizing the diary method to record library use by students. A brief literature review, searching for examples of successful diaries and models of good practice, was not as informative as had been expected, so this discussion aims to highlight some useful sources.
