摘要:We suggest narrative interaction as a design possibility for human-machine interfaces in public information systems. Because current interfaces are often very complex and do not reflect the users everyday ways of thinking, they pose barriers for people with low technological literacy. Using storytelling and narration for the graphical presentation of information in self-service technologies enables customers to draw on their everyday experiences. Therefore, it can be described as design principle towards more intuitive public information systems. We present a case study of a train ticket purchase process with a story structure that demonstrates the concept of narrative interaction.
