摘要:The article studies the example of the Interuniversity Scientific Council, later called Tomsk Interuniversity Coordination Council, analyzes social and public forms of science management and the development of scientific research in the USSR in 1963–1972. The council was the first organization of this kind in the USSR, engaged in the coordination of scientific and research, academic, economic, cultural and health-improving activities of Tomsk higher educational institutions. Interuniversity Scientific Council took up the objective to combine the efforts of Tomsk scientists, direct them to the development of fundamental and applied research in the prospective science and technology, render scientific and technological assistance to the industrial enterprises of Siberia. The important factor of its progressive activity is the close cooperation with state, party and labor organizations of the country, region, city, which enabled to reduce the deadlines of the scientific developments. The article is devoted to the enthusiasts of history of the higher schools and science of Russia and the Soviet period of our history.
