摘要：The aim of the article is to give a definition of “modernization of the aggregate financial potential of the country”, substantiate the directions and ways of the state policy on modernization of the aggregate financial potential of Ukraine. On the basis of the analysis, systematization and generalization of approaches to different kinds and types of modernization in the financial and economic sphere and its application to the constituents of the aggregate financial capacity of the country, it has been determined that the essence of the modernization of the country’s aggregate financial potential is in its renewal due to the disclosure of its structure, functions and mechanisms of implementation aimed at ensuring stable development of the national economy. According to the study results there have been proposed government measures to modernize the aggregate financial potential of Ukraine, including a complex system for stabilization of the national economy. The modernization paradigm implies an interconnected role of the system constituents that form the resource environment for ensuring the functioning of the national financial and economic sphere. Directions and ways of the state policy on modernization of the aggregate financial potential of Ukraine have a complex character both as a means of combating the existing financial and economic imbalances and from the standpoint of the requirements and expectations of society and of each economic entity. Prospects for further research in this direction are measures of the state policy on the expanded reproduction of the aggregate financial potential of Ukraine.
