摘要:An increased recognition of the value of women’s efforts, through organizing themselves on the grassroots level, uses empowerment processes as catalysts to economic development, and resources. Women’s Global Connection (WGC), a non-profit organization formed in the United States, has built partnerships with women’s groups in many nations. The purpose of this study was to describe educational activities during a WGC immersion experience in Peru. The evaluation of workshops with quantitative data and qualitative feedback was also presented. From this study, it is hoped to give insights for future researchers who inquire about collaborating with grassroots women. Based on feedback from the study and reflection, further implications and research will be discussed.
