摘要：The research efforts in this article had been to highlight the harsh and unfavorable environments under which the nation’s manufacturing sector operates. The major problems of this sector are: high production costs; poor infrastructures; finance; competition from fake and substandard imported goods; limited scope of operation; among a myriad of other obstacles. To assist the nation to be one of the twenty biggest economies in 2020, this article made far reaching recommendations for government and its various agencies to fine-tune and implement.
