摘要：A mobile ad hoc network consists of mobile wireless nodes. MANET is a self organized and self configurable network where the mobile nodes move arbitrarily. The mobile nodes can receive and forward packets as a router. Routing is a critical issue in MANET.In this paper a new scheme has been proposed for security. A comparative study for the performance of the protocols has been done varying in pause time using Network Simulator-2. Performances of the protocols have been compared by taking three metrics as; Packet Delivery Ratio, End to End Delay and Throughput.
