  • 摘要:This research aims to determine the effect of scientific approach to students’ geographical skill and learning outcomes of geography. It utilizes quasi-experimental method with quantitative approach. The research subjects are students of X grade State High School 1 Empang. The data is analyzed by using t-test (Independent Samples t - Test). The result shows that; (1) there is a significant effect of scientific approach to the students’ geographical skill; (2) there is a significant effect of the scientific approach to students’ learning outcomes of geography. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the scientific approach provides a significant positive effect to students’ geographical skills and students’ learning outcomes of geography in high school. It is influenced by the excellence of the scientific approach which is contained in each stage.
