摘要：The benefits of using Information Technology (IT) in financial institution are multifaceted: i) expansion of market shares; ii) improving communication with customers, vendors and employees; iii) fast responses to customer inquiries; and iv) easier ordering and tracking; improving the quality and transaction process and speed. The importance of this research is to undertake a comprehensive study to understand the impacts Information Technology Investment (ITI) on the Financial Performance (FP) of banks and explain and identify precise contributions of IT to the Jordanian banking sector. In other words, the study attempts to ascertain to what extent ITI has impacted on the FP of the commercial banks in Jordan.
