摘要：Editörden Yaz 2013 sayımızla sizinleyiz. Kaliteye verdiğimiz önem sayesinde, çok kısa sürede adından söz ettiren bir dergiye dönüştük. Kuşkusuz bu süreçte en önemli etken yazarlarımız ve hakemlerimizin titizliğidir. Dergimizin bu sayısında şunlar var: Birinci olarak, Sosyal Bilgiler Ders Kitaplarında Eski Çağ Tarihi konusunda yer alan bilimsel bilgilerde yetersizlikler ve hatalar olduğu sonucuna ulaşan Özlem Bektaş Öztaşkın ve İbrahim Üngör'ün “Sosyal Bilgiler Ders Kitaplarında Eski Çağ Tarihi Konusu ve Bilincinin Bilimsel İçerik Bakımından Değerlendirilmesi” isimli makale vardır. İkinci olarak, incelenen kitapların temel alandaki araştırma bulguları ile sınırlı bir ilişki içinde olduğu sonucuna ulaşan Sasan Baleghizadeh ve Mehrdad Yousefpoori-Naeim'in “İran'da Üç İngilizce Dil Öğretim Ders Kitabının Metalinguistik Analizi" adlı makaleleri vardır. Üçüncü olarak, yaşamın her alanında var olan şiddetin, okulların şiddet olgusundan arındırılamayacağı düşüncesi, ergenlerin okulda şiddet olgusuna ilişkin en çarpıcı algıları olduğu tespitinde bulunan Emine Durmuş'un “Ergen Bakış Açısıyla Okulda Şiddet ve Çözüm Önerileri” isimli çalışmsı vardır. Dördüncü olarak, Ömer Demir ve Halil Yurdugül'e ait “Çocukların Teknolojiyle Kendi Kendine Öğrenme Ölçeğinin Türkçe Uyarlanması: Bir Geçerlik Çalışması” adlı çalışma vardır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre; geliştirilen ölçek, öğretmenlerin, ortaokul ve liselerdeki öğrencilerin bulundukları teknoloji ile birlikte kendi kendine öğrenme seviyelerini hızlı bir şekilde tespit edebilmeleri açısından pratik ve kullanışlı bir veri toplama aracıdır. Beşinci olarak, EYD Yüksek Lisans Programı öğrencilerinin, programdan kişisel, sosyal ve mesleki alanda faydalandıklarını tespit eden Kemal Kayıkçı ve Başak Ercan'a ait "Türkiye'deki Eğitim Yönetimi ve Denetimi Lisansüstü Programlarının Değerlendirilmesi: Bir Durum Çalışması” isimli makale vardır. Son olarak, Sevda Mutlu tarafından yapılan “AB Üniversiteleri Erasmus Koordinatörlerinin Türk Üniversitelerinin Erasmus Öğrenci Değişim Programına Katılımı ve Türk Erasmus Öğrencileri Algısı” isimli çalışmayı görüyoruz. Yazar bu çalışmasında, Türkiye'nin Erasmus programı içerisinde yer almasına oldukça olumlu bakan AB üniversiteleri Erasmus koordinatörlerinin, Türk Erasmus öğrencilerinin İngilizce dil becerilerini yetersiz buldukları sonucuna ulaşmıştır. Dergimizin bu sayısının eğitim alanına katkı getirmesini umuyor, E-UEAD'ın yayına hazırlanması sürecinde emeği geçen dergi çalışanı, yazar, hakem ve diğer ilgililere teşekkürlerimi sunuyoruz. Birlikte daha nice zamanlara… ------------------------------- Editorial Now, with the summer number of our journal we are together with you again. Because of the importance that we have to give to quality, we have become a famous journal in a very short period of time. There is no doubt that the most important factor in this success is the contributions of our authors and the referees. The contents in this number of our journal are as follows: First, there is a study under the title of “The Evaluation of the Subject and Conscience of Ancient History in Social Studies Textbooks in terms of Scientific Content” by Özlem Bektaş Öztaşkın and İbrahim Üngör. They were concluded that some in adequencies, deficiencies and mistakes that prevent individuals from gaining awareness for ancient history subjects in social studies textbooks were seen. Second, there is a study under the title of “Surveying Metalanguage through Three EFL Textbooks” by Sasan Baleghizadeh and Mehrdad Yousefpoori-Naeim. They have determined that the metalanguage included in these textbooks compatibly reflects the trend of the related research during these years, i.e. a period of favoring grammar, followed by a phase of deemphasizing it, and finally a revival of grammar instruction. Third, there is a study under the title of “Adolescents' Perception of School Violence and Suggestions for Solutions” by Emine Durmuş. She found that violence events in the society make a strong emphasize to the students' perceptions of school violence cannot be prevented. Fourth, there is a study under the title of “Self-Directed Learning with Technology Scale for Young Students: A Validation Study” by Ömer Demir and Halil Yurdugül. The results showed that self-directed learning with technology scale for young students can be used by teacher as a handy measurement tool in order to determine the students' current level of self-directed learning with technology. Fifth, there is a study under the title of “The Evaluation of Educational Administration and Supervision Graduate Programs in Turkey: A Case Study” by Kemal Kayıkçı and Başak Ercan. They determined that students of Educational Administration and Supervision Graduate benefit from the program as personal, social and professional. Finally, there is a study under the title of “The Perception of Erasmus Coordinators of EU Universities on Turkish Universities Being a Part of Erasmus Student Exchange program and Turkish Students” by Sevda Mutlu. She showed that although EU university Erasmus coordinators have a positive perception of Turkey's inclusion in the Erasmus program and the Turkish students' harmony academically, culturally, socially, economically and religious wise, they do not have a positive perception in terms of their lack of English language skills. We hope that the Issues of our journal shall contribute to the field of education.
