摘要：With the last number of 2013 year we are together with you. Because of the importance that we have to give to quality, we have become a famous journal in a very short period of time. There is no doubt that the most important factor in this success is the contributions of our authors and the referees. The contents in this number of our journal are as follows: First, there is a study under the title of “Development of Organizational Power Scale at Schools: A Reliability and Validity Study” by Yahya Altınkurt and Kürşad Yılmaz. They were concluded that the scale is a reliable and valid scale that can be used to assess organizational power bases used by school principals working at state schools at primary and high school level. Second, there is a study under the title of “Effect of Special Education Course on Department of Special Education Students` Attitudes toward Persons with Disability” by Serpil Alptekin and Meryem Vural Batık. They have determined that 'Special Education Course' has significantly increased positive attitudes of 1st grade students in the Department of Hearing Impaired Education toward persons with disability. Fourth, there is a study under the title of “Perceptions of Primary School Teachers towards Management of Diversity (Sample of Muş City)” by Mukadder Boydak Özan and Murat Polat. They found that using the approach of difference management as a base in schools will be received positively in terms of teachers' perception. Third, there is a study under the title of “Views of Living Scientists on Their Academic Life Stories” by Gürbüz Ocak, İjlal Ocak, Ahmet Yamaç and Aylin Yazıcıoğlu. The results showed that academic life stories are collected under the themes of “the meaning of academic success concept”, “academic life metaphor”, “academic life metaphor and its rationale”, “experienced problems”, “solution offers”, “the relationship between academic life and private life”. Fifth, there is a study under the title of “Investigation of Predictor Variables of European Union Identity in Education Institution” by Yılmaz Tonbul and Esen Altunay. They determined that there is a significant relationship the perceptions of administrators and teachers between the EU identity and the level of knowledge about the EU and multicultural competence and acqusitions of EU citizenship. Finally, there is a study under the title of “The Relationship between School Climate Perceptions and School Size and Status” by Esin Çağlayan. She showed that both the teachers and the students hold generally positive perceptions about school climate and that there is a significant difference in the school climate perceptions of both the teachers and students in terms of school characteristics. We thank to the journal employees, authors, reviewers and all the others who have contributed to the preparation process of this issue. Kaliteye verdiğimiz önem sayesinde, çok kısa sürede adından söz ettiren bir dergiye dönüştük. Kuşkusuz bu süreçte en önemli etken yazarlarımız ve hakemlerimizin titizliğidir. Dergimizin bu sayısında şunlar var: Birinci olarak, kamu okullarında görev yapan okul müdürlerinin tercih ettikleri örgütsel güç temellerini belirlemede kullanılabilecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı geliştiren Yahya Altınkurt ve Kürşad Yılmaz'ın “Okullarda Örgütsel Güç Ölçeği'nin Geliştirilmesi: Geçerlik ve Güvenirlik Çalışması” isimli makale vardır. İkinci olarak, 'Özel Eğitim dersinin' (bilgilendirme), İşitme Engelliler Öğretmenliği 1. sınıf öğrencilerinin yetersizlikten etkilenmiş bireylere yönelik tutumlarını olumlu yönde etkilediği sonucuna ulaşan Serpil Alptekin ve Meryem Vural Batık'ın “Özel Eğitim Bölümü Öğrencilerinin Yetersizlikten Etkilenmiş Kişilere Yönelik Tutumlarına Özel Eğitim Dersinin Etkisi" adlı makaleleri vardır. Üçüncü olarak, öğretim üyelerinin akademik yaşamı, başarısı, sorunları ve çözümleri ile ilgili ilginç tespitlerde bulunan Gürbüz Ocak, İjlal Ocak, Ahmet Yamaç ve Aylin Yazıcıoğlu'nun “Yaşayan Bilim İnsanlarının Akademik Hayat Hikayelerine Yönelik Görüşleri” isimli çalışması vardır. Dördüncü olarak, Mukadder Boydak Özan ve Murat Polat'a ait “İlköğretim Öğretmenlerinin Farklılıkların Yönetimine Yönelik Algıları (Muş İli Örneği)” adlı çalışma vardır. Araştırmadan elde edilen sonuçlara göre; okullarda farklılıkların yönetimi yaklaşımının esas alınması, öğretmenler tarafından pozitif karşılanabilir. Beşinci olarak, öğretmen ve yöneticilerin AB'ne ilişkin bilgi düzeyi algısı, çok kültürlü yeterlik algısı, AB vatandaşlığının kazanımı algısı ve AB kimliği algısı arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu tespitinde bulunan Yılmaz Tonbul ve Esen Altunay'a ait “Avrupa Birliği Kimliğini Yordayan Değişkenlerin Eğitim Kurumlarında İncelenmesi” isimli makale vardır. Son olarak, Esin Çağlayan tarafından yapılan “Okul İklimi Algıları ile Okulun Büyüklüğü ve Statüsü Arasındaki İlişki” isimli çalışmayı görüyoruz. Yazar bu çalışmasında, hem öğretmenler hem de öğrencilerin okullarındaki örgütsel iklim algılarının oldukça olumlu olduğu ve bu algıların okul büyüklüğü ve statüsüne göre anlamlı farklılık gösterdiğini bulgulamıştır. E-UEAD'ın yayına hazırlanması sürecinde emeği geçen dergi çalışanı, yazar, hakem ve diğer ilgililere teşekkürlerimi sunuyor, yeni yılın yurdumuza ve dünyaya uygar bir barış getirmesini diliyorum.
