摘要:The study of neuropsychiatric diseases and the development of effective treatments have been limited by a lack of appropriate models. Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) represent a potentially limitless supply of patient-specific cells for the study of neuropsychiatric disorders. In this review, we will discuss the potential and limitations of iPSCs for the development of cell-based models of neuropsychiatric diseases and the identification of novel therapeutics.
