摘要:This study aimed to investigate consumer preferences towards frozen food products in Isparta province, Turkey. Data which are used in the study are gathered from interviews with 270 families through face-to-face surveys. Interviewed families are divided to three groups of only buying, only homemade, both buying and homemade. It has determined that believe to prepare in healthier conditions factor is very effective on homemade consumer group on the other side buying consumer group founded that provide time savings, ease of preparation and availability of all season factors effective. When annual consumption of frozen food per capita based on product groups was analyzed, it was determined that much more of vegetables, meat product and paste product were consumed. It has detected that buying consumer groups take more into account production date, brand and company factors. It has been determined that television is primary consumers' information sources for frozen food products. It can be concluded that interviewed consumer preferred frozen foods as a main dish.
