摘要:Peanut is one of the extensively cultivated field crops in Turkey. This study was conducted to determine the oil content and fatty acid composition of the certificated peanut cultivars which were grown in Antalya province. Total oil content was determined by using soxhelet apparatus and fatty acid composition of these oils was analysed by GC-MS/FID equipment. As a result, total oil content of these cultivars was ranged from 49.15% (Batem-Cihangir) to %54.95 (Florispan). The peanut oils composed from six different fatty acids. These fatty acids were palmitic, stearic, oleic, linoleic, arachidic and behenic acids and varied between 9.58-11.82%, 2.31-3.70%, 39.80-55.09%, 27.54-41.53%, 1.17-1.66%, 1.15-3.51 %, respectively. This research results showed that there were large variation in oil content and fatty acid composition for these peanut cultivars.
